Hi, I'm Alex!

…and I support young professionals, millennials, new entrepreneurs, and the leaders of tomorrow who are ready to shift from stuck and stressed to create success with fulfillment in all areas of their life. As a high-performance coach and mentor, I help people get free of the biggest challenges in their life, business and relationships by dissolving them one shift at a time. I spent much of my life living a story that I did not align with. It was created by a combination of my family, peers, and cultural influences. This lead me to being out of alignment mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Over the last 5 years I've dove in to the worlds of coaching, positive psychology, performance science, and personal growth. My mission is to support other young professionals living just like I was that are ready for a big transition, but don’t know where to start.

Building the mental muscles to thrive during challenging life situation is the foundation to creating success, happiness and optimal well-being!

6 Weeks of Intensive Practice 

Week 1: Boost Your Self-Command Muscle

The first week you learn innovative 10-second PQ Reps that boost your self-command. This enables you to run your brain rather than being run by your Saboteur-hijacked brain. Self-command is key to intercepting unhelpful mental habits and rewiring your brain to respond more effectively.  
  
- Try out and discover PQ Reps that are most effective for you. 
- Reach the minimum target for PQ Reps/day to achieve rewiring goal within 6 weeks. 
- Use the app's breakthrough PQ Charge Meter to ensure optimal brain activation before important activities. 
- Declare an audacious aspiration--what you want to achieve through this program.
  
Week 2: Intercept the Judge Saboteur 

For this entire week, you'll intercept and weaken the most damaging Saboteur, the Judge. You discover how judging yourself, others, and circumstances is a key source of your stress and quite damaging to your performance. 

- Expose your Judge's hidden lies, limiting beliefs, and negative patterns. 
- Reveal your Judge's impact on performance, relationships, and stress.
- Practice intercepting your Judge before it hijacks you.  
- Rewire your negative neural pathways by redirecting the Judge response.     
  
Week 3: Intercept your Accomplice Saboteurs 

This week you intercept and weaken the top accomplice to your Judge Saboteur, identified through the Saboteur Assessment from the following.

- Expose your accomplice Saboteur's hidden lies, limiting beliefs and negative patterns. 
- Reveal this Saboteur's  impact on performance, relationships, and stress. 
- Discover how to quickly intercept this Saboteur before it hijacks you.  
- Rewire your negative neural pathways by redirecting this Saboteur's  response.  
  
Week 4: Shift From Saboteur to Sage 

After weakening your Saboteurs, it is now time to strengthen your Sage. Your Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, generates all your positive emotions, and achieves peak performance through a calm and clear mind. 

- Practice the Sage Perspective that every outcome or circumstance can be turned into a gift and opportunity. 
- Use the 3 Gifts Technique to find the opportunity in setbacks. 
- Replace draining self-judgment with energizing self-acceptance and empathy. 
- Boost speed of recovery from failures and setbacks.
  
Week 5: Boost the Sage Powers
 
The Sage region of the brain enables 5 primary powers.  These 5 powers recombine to form all of the emotional intelligence competencies considered crucial to professional success.   

- Augment your mental toolbox with 5 Sage powers.  
- Practice 3 techniques to activate each power. 
- Know when to use which power--right tool at the right time.  
- Boost emotional intelligence through combinations of the 5 primary powers. 

Week 6: Take Clear-Headed, Laser-Focused Action

In our final week, you use your Sage's Navigate and Activate powers to take clear-headed, laser-focused, decisive action.  

- Use your Sage's Navigate power to align your actions with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. 
- Use your Sage's Activate power to act without fear or emotional distractions even in midst of great crises. 
- Discover your Sage's deep wisdom, far surpassing your analytical intelligence. 
- Discover how your Sage generates your highest performance while enjoying every step--"in the zone."

Final Session: Sustain the Momentum 

 In this final session, you discover how to continue using your PQ tools for a variety of work and life applications.  
- Learn how to further apply to peak performance in selling and persuading, conquering stress, managing conflict, and relationships mastery.
- Discover how to use the PQ app to maintain your new mental muscles and Sage habits.
- Chart your path to keep progressing towards your audacious aspirations Establish support and accountability agreements to sustain your momentum

WEEKLY GROUP CALL

For each week of the program I will facilitate our weekly 1-hour "POD" session to support your practice, learning and growth. It will feature a combination of discussion, reflection, and time for questions to deepen your understanding of Positive Intelligence.  
 

WEEKLY MODULES 

The PQ app will serve as your guide through the 6-week program. It will record your PQ progress, provide weekly videos, daily challenges/reflections and provide access to the Positive Intelligence e-book.

Each weekend the Weekly Video Sessions will become active. These videos will provide you a deeper understanding of your own saboteurs.

DAILY APP & PROGRESS TRACKING

For our 6-Week program, aim for 15 min/day to complete the Focus of the Day, Coach Challenges and additional PQ reps to strengthen your mental muscles.

The PQ app will also track your PQ reps, PQ charge and the strength of your PQ muscle as it grows over the 6 weeks.

BONUS: 1 on 1 Coaching

An optional addition to the PQ Mental Fitness Bootcamp is to (2) private 1:1 coaching sessions with me.

These sessions can be used to dive deeper into your PQ or Saboteur assessments, develop a deeper understanding of the negative effects of your saboteurs, strengthen your Sage Powers or another agenda of your choosing.

About Your Coach:

Alex Barilec is a professional High Performance Coach, Life Coach and Mentor. As a coach he is helped CEO's, entrepreneurs, educators, business owners and government employees upgrade their beliefs, develop healthy habits and re-create their lives with intention. He began his work as a coach in high school sports and has spent time working with students in higher education institutions as well. Clients who seek his support have gone from 80 hour work weeks in jobs they don’t like to creating their own opportunities in the field of their choice, have started their own businesses, deepened their connections with friends, family and significant others and most importantly have developed the confidence and unwavering belief in their own innate abilities.

He spent his formative years in the frigid cold winters of Buffalo, NY but now calls Ogden, UT and the Wasatch Front home. When not working with incredible people to maximize their potential you can find him skiing, hiking, biking, climbing and adventuring in the mountains.

Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Management and a professional Life Coach Certification from the Coach Training Alliance. He is also a registered Positive Intelligence Coach and leads small groups through a process grounded in emotional intelligence, positive psychology and neuroscience to help them shift their inner dialogue to attain increased peace, productivity and satisfaction.
